Flat rolled stainless steels from Coshocton Works include:
Chrome nickel (austenitic) stainless steel grades that are ideal for applications that demand extraordinary strength, durability and corrosion resistance. These steels are used in appliances, transportation products, food processing equipment, chemical and petrochemical plants, and industrial equipment.
Chrome (martensitic) grades contain higher levels of carbon and offer increased hardenability characteristics for specialty applications such as cutlery, scissors, kitchen utensils and surgical instruments.
Ferritic grades meet the needs of applications that must withstand extreme heat and corrosive conditions, including automotive and appliance trim, welded tubing, solar panels and hot water heaters.
Coshocton Works has earned ISO/TS-16949 and ISO-9001 certification. The plant is also a recipient of several customer quality and service awards.
